They are minor little additions, but I feel they go a long way in make the world “living and breathing.” This is an example of where I’d like the script to go. + Example would be referencing Dirk’s interaction with Lida or checking the old Inn before talking to Doan. – Made a number of interactions more dynamic by referencing past choices/interactions + Zalran Fields (Church plaque is a notable addition for those interested in lore) + Zalran Proper, Mayor House, Lida’s Shop, Doan’s Inn – Changed gem retrieval event line in Zalran mines – Many events now controlled with global switches and variables so they can effect each other Meaning, you don’t get a repeat of an initial dialogue repeating itself as it typical in JRPGs – Nearly every dialogue event modified to change upon multiple interactions. This was done to better transition to Chapter 1 content. ![]() Nearly every written aspect of the prologue has been updated or rewritten. Many maps will now be chapter specific to prevent overwhelming number of events + Maps reorganized in preparation for Chapter 1 release. + Chapter 1 maps added (Northern and Southern road, Zalran Lake, Zalran hills) * Added FullScreen++, Bug fixes for pictures and Yanfly’s battle system + Updated scripts (BlackMorning, MOG, OvertureAce,) + Finalized terminology through for HP, MP, Stamina, Stats, etc. Currencies differ between regions, but all are based on bits. + Gold became “Bits” to reflect that Talyron’s currency is based on gold bits. + Drastic changes to common event organization and moved a lot of map events to the common event system to better enable dynamic eventing + States defined and created in preparation for the final battle system + Iconset updated with weapon and armor variations + Skills, Items, Weapons, Armors, Switches, Variables, Common Events all renamed and moved into appropriate groupings. – Database organization reworked (Will break prior saves) It’s in a better state than it has EVER been, and I can now build on this foundation going forward. The game is playing great, and shouldn’t have many bugs. There has been a ton of work put into getting this release to where it is at. There is a lot more I’m not thinking of right now. The end of the prologue has been changed to reflect where the story has transitioned to over the years.Multiple expressions were added and Kira in particular is significantly different. Portraits in the game have been revamped for the increased resolution and in some cases redrawn.The battle system is now implemented with a completely custom HUD and custom companion system for Bogwort.At least half of them have been completely redrawn for the new resolution All the CGs have been increased in resolution and any issues fixed.If you choose to explore, you’ll find lots of fun interactions. The dialogue has gone through another edit, and many exploration events have been added.Every map is in a higher resolution tileset with lots of custom tiles.The game is now in MV and scaled to 1152×648 instead of 640×480. ![]() This is considered a polished release that is ready to play and enjoy! This release also contains a working battle system and artwork. This release is the full prologue, including a new CG for the end of the prologue campfire event.
